Choosing the right hotel is an important part of planning your Puerto Rican island adventure. To make your choice easier, we put together this list of frequently asked questions from our Condado Ocean Club community of travelers.

Do you allow pets?
Condado Ocean Club generally welcomes furry friends up to 25 lbs for a $150 Pet-Fee per stay. Read our full pet policy.

What is the parking policy?
Valet Parking Only available | Hotel Guest Fee $30 Per Day (IN/OUT privileges)

Do you have airport-hotel transportation services?
Here are our recommendations for public or private transportation to and from the airport:

  • Uber and taxis are available 24/7. Typical costs vary from $22 - $28 depending on the time and the pieces of luggage. Cash is recommended for taxis.
  • For private transportation please contact concierge@condadooc.com. Typical costs vary from $85 - $340 depending on the time, amount of guest, and car type. We will be happy to quote and arrange payment.

Do you have wifi available?
Free wifi is available in all guest rooms and public areas.

What are room tariffs and occupancy taxes? 
Room rates are always subject to a daily 18% hotel tariff and 9% occupancy tax. These charges cover local taxes as well as access to hotel amenities such as complimentary wifi, pool and beach access, and more.

Is smoking permitted?
Condado Ocean Club has a no-smoking policy. Pursuant to Law No. 40 of August 3, 1993, as amended, Puerto Rico is generally a non-smoking jurisdiction.

Is there a dress code?
After 6 PM, we ask that you trade in your swimsuits for your stylish, nighttime, beach club digs, especially when visiting our restaurant SOCIAL or enjoying our Lobby Living Room & Bar.

Are there any must-know Ocean Club rules?
Thanks for asking! During your stay we ask that you refrain from:

  • Hanging banners or decor on any doors, walls, or surfaces in or outside of guest rooms.
  • Moving furniture from rooms to terraces or hallways.
  • Hosting loud get-togethers in guest rooms – especially during late-night hours.
  • Possession and/or Consumption of illegal drugs
  • Hanging wet towels on terrace railings – please hang them on the hooks inside the rooms instead!

Condado Ocean Club reserves the right to take immediate actions with guests as these situations require, including guests who create excessive noise and/or disturbances.

Rooms

How many guests are allowed per room?
Our guest capacity is 2 guests per room for king bedrooms. The guest capacity is 4 guests per room for doubles rooms with an additional guest charge of $40 per night for every 3rd and 4th person, respectively. 

For example, a double room with 3 guests will be charged an additional $40 per night and a double room with 4 guests will be charged an additional $80 per night.

Are there rollaway beds, air mattresses, or cribs available?
Rollaway beds and air mattresses are not available nor permitted. Cribs are not available.

Do you offer handicap-accessible rooms?
We have 5 accessible rooms available. To book one of these rooms, please click on “Show Filters” under the SELECT A ROOM section when placing your reservation.  If you require further assistance, please contact our staff at reservations@condadooc.com

Do you have suites or connecting rooms?
We offer 6 Sets of connecting rooms with Laguna/City Views, only.  The layouts connect 1 King to 2 Dbl Queens.

We do not have suites in our room inventory.

Check In + Out

At what times are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 4 PM, check-out is at 11 AM.

What if I need an early check-in or late check-out?
If you expect to arrive earlier than 4 PM and would like immediate access to your room, we recommend booking the room for the night prior to guarantee immediate access. 

Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access to your room until you depart. 

If you choose not to reserve, we will be happy to store your bags and make our facilities available for you to freshen up.

What do I need to bring with me to check-in?
During check-in, you must present the credit card used for the deposit/reservation.

If you don’t have the card at check-in, at the discretion of the hotel, a refund to that card may be issued and the deposit may be taken on the card presented by the guest at check-in.

Should I expect any additional charges during check-in?
During check-in, an authorization of $100.00 per night for incidentals will be taken on the credit card in the presenter’s name.

In the event that no charges have been made to the room, this authorization will be fully refunded at check-out.

If you use a debit card, please ask the desk clerk to explain the fund’s availability policy during your stay and after check-out.

Do you offer pool passes for non-guests?
Yes, we do.  Please contact events@condadooc.com for day pass and/or cabana availability and pricing for the general public.  These passes are subject to availability.

How do I get a lounge chair on the pool deck?
Lounge Chairs at the pool are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

How do I reserve cabana?
Cabanas are subject to availability.  You can reserve a cabana for parties of 2 – 10 people by emailing events@condadooc.com. You can make your reservation before arrival or during your stay.

How much are cabana rentals?
Cabana prices vary according to cabana size, events and seasonality. 

Are there any must-know pool rules?

  • Management reserves the right to remove personal items from lounge chairs and cabanas that are unattended or unoccupied for more than one hour.
  • Our Pool deck team is available daily to assist you with your personal needs at the pool. 
  • Only room charges and/or credit/debit card payments are accepted at THE DECK.

Do you have a beach area?
We are located oceanfront and invite our guests to enjoy seaside sunbathing. Our direct shoreline is quite rocky and we recommend that you not swim in these waters. There are several swim-friendly beaches within walking distance.

Puerto Rico

What is the weather in Puerto Rico?
Temperatures average from 85 degrees in lower areas to 70 degrees in the mountains. Puerto Rico enjoys warm and sunny days most of the year!

When is the best time to go to Puerto Rico?
It is always the best time to visit Puerto Rico! But there are small variations between the seasons. The winter is typically the busiest, so if you are looking to travel during a quieter time, Spring weather is pleasant, and in the mid-80s, and Summer is also a great time to visit but is a more rainy season.

What timezone is Puerto Rico?
Puerto Rico observes Atlantic Standard Time all year. There are no Daylight Saving Time clock changes.

What language is spoken in Puerto Rico?
Both Spanish and English are the official languages in Puerto Rico because it's a U.S. territory.

What is the currency in Puerto Rico?
Puerto Rico's monetary unit is the United States Dollar (USD) as it is a commonwealth country of the United States of America.

Do you need a passport to go to Puerto Rico? 
Passports are not required for US Citizens. Only non-US citizens and U.S. citizens entering from a foreign country are required to present a passport.

We are an adults only hotel. Guests must be 21 years or older.
